Gregory Pyra Piro’s clock sculpture is a stunning masterpiece that flawlessly combines mixed media, blending sculpture and jewelry elements. The clock’s base, crafted from oakwood, is beautifully adorned with silver and intricate 14 karat gold accents, complemented by the addition of amber and drusy stones, reminiscent of exquisite jewelry craftsmanship. The central nautilus shell is also intricately embellished with silver and 14 karat gold solder work, featuring facet cut peridot, amethyst, garnet, amber, drusy, and pearls. Enveloped in elegant enamel, the clock’s top portion is made of glass, while certain clock parts, including amber, are LED lit.
